Kiteboarding
or Kitesurfing is the perfect
fusion of surfing and kiting. Over
the past 15 years, Kiteboarding
has been in development and
more recently, matured into
one of the hottest extreme
sports in the world. Imagine
an 8-21 square meter kite at
the end of 15m to 30m lines
in 15 knots (30km/h) of wind--and
it’s attached to you! Kiteboarding
uses wake and surf style board
designs to fly over and off
the water.
Kite designs have radically changed
and improved, driving the growth
not only of Kiteboarding, but
of snowkiting and landboarding. Kiteboarding
is an extreme sport. Stay
safe, take a lesson and become proficient
with all concepts and safety
procedures, before you launch
a kite. |
