Windsurfing is the perfect fusion of surfing and sailing.  Developed in California 40 years ago, it took the world by storm becoming the youngest sport ever to be included in the Olympics.  Windsurfing received a major boost in 1998 with the introduction of wide-style windsurfing boards making for easier learning curves, and more speed with less wind.  These new boards were co-pioneered by one of the designers of the original windsurfer, Jim Drake of Starboard Windsurfing.   Windsurfing is for people of all ages, and all abilities.
